Location: Voorhees Pediatric Facility (nearest airport is Philadelphia, PA)
This course is taught in an alternate "weekend" format to allow participants multiple opportunities to return to work and integrate the information following each segment. It is taught by a team of professionals from the disciplines of PT, OT and Speech Therapy. Course curriculum consists of a minimum of 261 hours including lectures, treatment demonstrations, movement labs, and client treatment. Course participants learn hands on intervention strategies which promote enhanced discipline specific functional outcomes while reducing activity limitations and functional limitations. The course curriculum includes therapeutic management of individuals with neurologic impairment of all types and degrees of involvement between the ages of 2 years and 21 years.
